Novva Group on the ground in LatAm seeks a deal originator to locate renewable energy projects and engage data center operators, hyperscalers, and cloud providers seeking power solutions in LatAm.

Responsibilities include sourcing RTB-stage projects, identifying greenfield opportunities, and maintaining a live acquisition pipeline for the HQ investment team. Strong Spanish and English skills and willingness to travel are required.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, energy, data center, telecommunications or large-scale industrial project development.
• Experience in advancing large-scale power infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in successfully developing at least one data center.
• Spanish: native/fluent; English: professional proficiency.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Source and secure RTB-stage renewable energy projects across LatAm.
• Identify greenfield opportunities with grid access potential.
• Maintain a live acquisition pipeline for HQ review.
• Build relationships with hyperscalers, cloud operators, and colocation providers.
• Map NOVVA assets to offtake opportunities.
• Lead deal structuring: co-development JVs and land agreements.
• Negotiate terms with HQ legal, finance, and technical teams to close.
• Leverage LatAm developer, landowner, regulator, and utility networks.
• Track energy and data center market dynamics.

We need a deal originator on the ground in Latam, someone who knows where the renewable energy projects are, who controls them, and how to close. You will also engage data center operators, hyperscalers, and cloud providers seeking power solutions in Latam.

Key Responsibilities

Project Origination (Supply Side)

• Source and secure RTB-stage renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS) across Colombia
• Identify greenfield opportunities with grid access potential
• Maintain a live acquisition pipeline for HQ investment team review

Data Center Demand Origination

• Build relationships with hyperscalers, cloud operators, and colocation providers entering or expanding in Latam
• Understand their power requirements and map NOVVA assets to offtake opportunities
• Lead preliminary deal structuring: co-development JVs, land agreements
• Negotiate commercial terms and collaborate with HQ legal, finance, and technical teams to close
• Leverage existing relationships with Latam developers, landowners, regulators, and utilities
• Track energy and data center market dynamics

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, energy, data center, telecommunications or large-scale industrial project development
• Experience in advancing large-scale power infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in successfully developing at least one data center
• Spanish: native/fluent | English: professional proficiency
