Candidates should possess extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and demonstrate a successful track record in data center development. Fluency in English and a willingness to travel frequently within the region are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, energy, data centers, telecommunications, or large industrial project development.
• Demonstrated track record in advancing large-scale power infrastructure projects.
• Successful development of at least one data center project from concept to operation.
• English fluency required.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Latin America.

Work Location: Chile / Colombia / Brazil (flexible across Latin America; priority order: Chile, then Brazil, then Colombia)

Role overview

This role leads site selection, development, and strategic promotion of next‑generation, AI‑ready hyperscale data center campuses across Latin America. The ideal candidate brings a blend of large‑scale infrastructure development experience, deep understanding of power and utilities, and the ability to engage directly with hyperscalers and other strategic customers.

What we’re looking for

Candidates should have:

• Strong capabilities in coordinating with power providers and public utilities.
• Direct experience acquiring land and securing permits for major projects.
• The ability to communicate effectively with hyperscaler and cloud customers.
• A solid understanding of energy strategy, power resources, and grid constraints.

You will be a key driver in shaping where and how new AI‑ready data center campuses are developed in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end development of hyperscale and AI data center campuses in Latin America.
• Identify strategic locations with large, scalable power supply and robust transmission infrastructure.
• Drive land acquisition, permitting, environmental impact assessments, and coordination with public utilities.
• Support master planning and infrastructure design for multi‑site campuses.

2. Power and energy strategy

• Work closely with power utilities, transmission operators, and renewable energy developers.
• Structure and promote long‑term power purchase agreements (PPAs) and battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions.
• Assess grid capacity, substation options, and power supply risks to support long‑term campus growth.

3. Hyperscaler and strategic client engagement

• Serve as a key interface with hyperscalers, cloud service providers, and AI infrastructure clients.
• Shape and drive Build‑to‑Suit solutions and long‑term capacity partnerships.
• Build durable, trust‑based relationships with data center customers across the region.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, energy, data centers, telecommunications, or large industrial project development.
• Demonstrated track record in advancing large‑scale power infrastructure projects.
• Successful development of at least one data center project from concept to operation.
• English fluency, with the ability to use it as the main working language.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Latin America.
