Blend is seeking an AI Engineering Manager to drive growth and build a world-class AI/ML team. You will lead end-to-end AI system delivery, guide RAG and LLM-powered solutions, and establish robust MLOps practices for scalable production deployments across cloud platforms.

You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders while shaping the roadmap for ambitious AI initiatives in LATAM.

Formación

• 7+ years hands-on AI/ML engineering in production.
• 2+ years direct team leadership or technical management.
• Expert Python proficient with strong Git practices.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP (Azure preferred).
• Hands-on RAG experience with embeddings, retrieval, evaluation.
• Proven MLOps/LLMOps track record (MLflow, Weights & Biases).
• Experience with event-driven architectures, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong communication with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead project delivery end to end with governance and accountability.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI engineering team.
• Own proposals and new business initiatives; define feasibility and risks.
• Guide design of RAG systems and LLM-powered solutions for production.
• Run feasibility studies on prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, or classical ML.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and quality standards for deployments.
• Build scalable MLOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
