Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect to own the embedded architecture for Genius POS platforms and guide cloud-native design decisions. You will shape payment integrations, enable AI-enabled features, and drive cross-domain interoperability across multiple POS products.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field
6+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in architect/lead roles
Experience designing/shipping payment integrations and PCI-scoped architectures

Responsibilities

Own embedded architecture for POS platforms and delivery teams
Lead design for payment flows and third-party integration ecosystems
Design APIs/contracts enabling cross-platform reuse and interoperability
Contribute to a unified integration platform with API management and onboarding
Drive AI-enabled features and tooling integration in products
Own non-functional requirements: security, scalability, observability, compliance
Govern architecture with governance integration and cross-team alignment
Mentor engineers to grow architectural skills across domains
