Job summary

Visit.org in Zurich, Switzerland seeks an experienced Freelance Event Specialist to manage on-site logistics for upcoming in-person events. The role is per-event, located in Zurich, with travel to local areas as needed; candidates must be based in Zurich and be available for flexible hours including nights and weekends.

You will coordinate shipping, staffing, check-in, attendee experience, and post-event wrap-up, acting as the on-site Visit.org representative and problem-solver to deliver

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Experience in complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level events.
• Resourcefulness and ability to solve problems under pressure.
• Self-starter who is organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate event logistics, shipping materials, and staffing for each event.
• Be on-site hands-on and ensure high-quality customer experience.
• Join planning meetings with partners and Visit.org team.
• Be the representative and problem-solver at events.
• Handle check-in and attendee welcome; manage post-event wrap-up.
