Job summary

Artefact is hiring a Manager who leads GenAI strategy and architecture projects in Zurich, balancing business value, technology choices, and economics. You will guide development teams, present to C-level stakeholders, and run workshops end-to-end.

You will shape proposals, design GenAI solutions, and orchestrate trade-offs across make/buy/customize while ensuring security and compliance. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional IT experience.
• 3+ years on AI/GenAI architecture and solution design projects.
• Hands-on background as an engineer or developer.
• Experience applying GenAI to support functions (HR, Procurement, Legal, Finance or IT).
• Consulting experience, ideally in strategy consulting, with SI/delivery experience.
• Track record of managing projects and leading teams including development teams.
• Experience presenting to C-level stakeholders and running workshops independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead GenAI strategy and architecture projects from scoping to rollout oversight.
• Own project plans, budgets, risks and quality to meet client objectives.
• Shape proposals, estimates and demos and identify follow-on opportunities.
• Design GenAI architectures (RAG, agentic and multi-agent patterns) and integrate with enterprise systems.
• Present solutions to C-level audiences and run workshops independently.
• Coach and develop consultants and architects in the team.
