Flynn and Chase seeks an Investment Associate to join its Zurich team. You will be involved in every stage of an investment: sourcing, evaluating, financing and ultimately realising value from energy infrastructure assets.

Responsibilities include building models, writing investment papers, due diligence across multiple domains, and leading deal discussions with vendors, banks and partners. Fluent English essential; German advantageous.

Formación

• 3–6 years in M&A, private equity, infrastructure investing or related.
• Excellent academic record from a top university or business school.
• Strong modelling and valuation skills with solid corporate finance knowledge.
• Real interest in power markets and the energy transition.
• Clear analytical thinking and ability to turn inputs into a recommendation.
• Self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude and ownership in a small team.
• Fluent English is essential; German or another European language is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and evaluate energy infrastructure opportunities internationally.
• Build the models and valuations behind each investment recommendation.
• Write investment papers and present to the Investment Committee.
• Run due diligence across technical, commercial, legal, tax and financial areas.
• Help shape deal structures and participate in negotiations with vendors, banks and partners.
• Follow developments in the energy market and refine sector views.
• Lead bolt-on acquisitions for existing holdings.
• Work on refinancings and ensure suitable debt structures.
• Track portfolio performance against business plans and update valuation models.
• Provide regular updates for investors, lenders and committees.
• Manage relationships with industrial partners and advisers.
