Job summary

Energy Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Vice President Investments to support the investment lifecycle from sourcing to post-closing value creation. The role focuses on Swiss and German markets with leadership responsibilities across deal sourcing, execution, and asset management.

You will mentor analysts, manage complex transactions, and collaborate with management teams to drive performance while maintaining strong investor relations and governance involvement.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in business, natural/engineering sciences from a top-tier university.
• 7+ years investment experience in energy infrastructure or related large deals.
• Experience leading teams and negotiating complex transactions.
• Strong network to originate deals in energy markets.
• Proven track record in due diligence, M&A, and project financing.
• Deep understanding of value drivers and risk in investments.
• Analytical, proactive, and entrepreneurial with strong communication.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and originate attractive investment opportunities in energy infrastructure.
• Lead transaction execution with financial modelling, valuations, and memos.
• Manage due diligence across technical, legal, financial, tax and commercial workstreams.
• Structure transactions and negotiate terms with sellers, partners and lenders.
• Represent EIP on boards and monitor portfolio performance.
• Prepare client reporting and maintain investor relationships.
• Develop and execute value-enhancing initiatives for portfolio companies.
• Mentor analysts and ensure efficient project management and knowledge sharing.
