Job summary

Flux Mobility AG in Winterthur is seeking a working student in Electrical Engineering to support our E/E team in the lab and in electrical vehicle documentation. You will set up measurement rigs, run tests on LV/HV systems, and keep records for the team.

You will also develop and maintain electrical schematics, pin assignments, connector lists and harness drawings. The role combines hands-on measurement work with precise documentation and collaboration with an engineer as your point of contact.

Qualifications

• Ongoing studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, energy engineering or comparable field from 3rd bachelor semester.
• Solid fundamentals in measurement technology, electrical engineering and reading schematics.
• Documentation-driven approach with emphasis on traceability.
• Willingness to work safely around HV systems; supervised by a qualified electrician; de-energisation procedures provided.
• Experience with E-CAD (Altium), CAN bus or Python / MATLAB is a plus.
• Languages: German and English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain test benches and measurement rigs for electrical components.
• Perform measurements: voltage/current, insulation, resistance, thermal behaviour of busbars and cabling.
• Record and analyse CAN bus traffic and fault memories.
• Write measurement protocols and test reports for verification.
• Support troubleshooting and commissioning on prototype and field vehicles.
• Maintain circuit diagrams and derive harness drawings.
• Build and maintain pin assignments, connectors and wire lists.
• Reconcile as-built vehicles with documentation and log deviations.
• Keep lab equipment and calibration status organized.
