Web-Fed Flexo Printing & Process Specialist

We are looking for an experienced web-fed flexo press operator with a strong hands-on approach to print quality and process optimization. You’ll support machine commissioning, testing and on-site troubleshooting to ensure our flexo and hybrid solutions meet BOBST’s high standards.
The ideal candidate also understands what it means to run a digital printing job—job setup, workflow, and consistency—even if they haven’t operated a digital press directly.

Location: Mex (Vaud), Switzerland
Start date: As soon as possible
Activity Rate: Full-Time
Type of contract: Permanent contract
Travel: Worldwide travel up 50-60% of working time

Main Responsibilities

•Operate and fine-tune flexo presses to reach top print quality •Troubleshoot print and process issues on-site and during internal tests
•Optimize cold foil, primer, and curing processes
•Support FAT/SAT activities and customer training
•Contribute to R&D with field feedback and process insights
•Help bridge flexo and digital workflows in hybrid environments

Critical Skills

•5+ years running web-fed flexo presses (labels, folding carton, etc.) •Strong knowledge of print parameters, defect resolution, and inline finishing
•Familiarity with digital print workflows (job prep, consistency, expectations)
•Good English and willing to travel internationally (up to 60%)
•Bonus: experience in converting or offset
