Job Title: Warehouse Operative – 6-Month Rolling Contract

Location: Visp, Switzerland

Contract Type: Contract (6-month rolling)

Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Standard Day Shift)

Job Overview:

We are currently hiring a dependable and detail-focused Warehouse Operative to support warehouse and logistics operations at a major pharmaceutical site in Visp. The role is key to ensuring the accurate and timely handling, storage, and movement of materials in a regulated GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming and outgoing goods inspection, labelling, and documentation
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with regulations
  • Handle inventory checks, internal stock movements, and material preparation
  • Ensure accurate data entry into SAP or other warehouse management systems
  • Support the flow of materials to production, laboratory, and packaging areas
  • Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and support quality audits
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards and report deviations or non-conformances
  • Collaborate with logistics, production, and quality departments

Requirements:

  • Fluent German (spoken and written) – essential for daily operations and compliance
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role (preferably GMP regulated)
  • Valid forklift license (SUVA or equivalent required)
  • Experience working with SAP or other WMS tools preferred
  • High attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and safety-conscious attitude
