About Our Client

Our client is one of the market leaders in the Swiss industrial sector.

Location: 30 min west from Fribourg.

Job Description

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:

1. As an experienced leader with excellent communication skills, you will take full responsibility for our new regional warehouse. In this newly created position, you will benefit from a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to establish efficient structures right from the start.
2. You will have the opportunity to build a completely new team of around 50 employees and continuously optimise and develop logistics processes. You will coordinate closely with our suppliers, sales team, and external partners. Together with your team, you will ensure timely and high-quality deliveries. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Logistics Switzerland.
3. During the first six months, you will travel across Switzerland to become familiar with existing processes and prepare effectively for the go-live. Your excellent command of both German and French, along with strong communication skills, will be essential in building bridges and ensuring smooth operations.

The Successful Applicant

The Warehouse Manager will have to meet the following requirements:

1. Certified logistics professional with a federal diploma and additional qualification as a logistics manager or equivalent.
2. Experience leading teams of 20 to 50 employees.
3. Experience leading an automated warehouse.
4. Solid knowledge of process and project management as well as automation.
5. Independent, precise, and customer-oriented working style.
6. High flexibility, resilience, and strong commitment to performance.
7. Confident in using MS Office, warehouse management systems, and KPI tools.
8. Fluent in German and French; English is a plus.
9. Communicative, assertive, and team-oriented personality.
10. Service-minded and capable under pressure.
