If you're passionate about headless architecture, system integration, scalability, and driving business value through tech — we'd love to meet you.Your Mission: As VP of Engineering, you will guide enterprise clients through highly complex technology landscapes. From content architecture to delivery and monetization, you will lead projects and teams at Centralsoft to deliver robust, scalable, and future-proof digital ecosystems. You'll also collaborate with Marketing and Sales during the pre-sales process and provide thought leadership for our tech strategy.

• Responsibilities

• Your responsibilities include:
• Act as the technical lead and strategic partner for key enterprise clients in media & entertainment
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams across architecture, engineering, UX, and product
• Architect and oversee implementations of headless CMS, DAM, CDN, and infrastructure components
• Build scalable cloud-native platforms using AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless services
• Design and implement middleware layers (Node.js) and contribute to AI-powered publishing solutions
• Drive modern frontend development with frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt, React, Vue
• Integrate complex systems: Paywalls, Subscription Management, Ad Tech, Analytics, etc.
• Support pre-sales processes and shape proposals with Sales & Marketing
• Represent Centralsoft in client meetings with confidence, clarity, and technical excellence

• Qualifications

• For this role, we expect you to have:
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering with a strong focus on media and digital platforms
• Proven success with complex system integrations, especially in headless CMS environments
• Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions and cloud-based content delivery
• Deep knowledge in cloud infrastructure: AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless
• Understanding of content delivery networks (CDNs) and performance optimization
• Experience with middleware architecture (Node.js, APIs) and AI in content workflows
• Frontend engineering leadership with Next.js, Nuxt, React, Vue
• Understanding of business logic systems like paywalls, subscription flows, and advertising integrations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — both technical and non-technical (German and English)
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in agile environments
