Eco Caminhos wants to become a role model in Brasil and beyond when it comes to sustainable and happy lifestyle. We will live in harmony with nature, produce our own food, energy while the land grows in richness, productivity and aesthetic beauty. We will treat our own waste, generate our own electricity and share our knowledge with others. Our example should trigger others to step away from the consuming world and do the same. We follow the essences of permaculture, agroforestry and bio-construction.

Volunteer Opportunity

Short-term volunteering at Eco Caminhos is an excellent way to gain practical skills and experience in organic farming, natural building (bioconstruction), agroforestry and permaculture. We are located in the scenic sierra region of Rio de Janeiro in the Atlantic Forest. you will work and live with locals and volunteers from all around the world. Living in a rustic setting, you will have the opportunity to make life-long friends and learn Portuguese.
