Zusammenfassung

Stadler is seeking an experienced project engineer for railway signalling (CBTC) to align customer requirements with our product and prepare project-specific system descriptions and documentation. You will configure CBTC sub-systems and support assembly, installation, testing, and homologation while coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Several years in Railway Signalling and CBTC exposure are highly desirable; fluency in English and German or French is required, with

• Completed technical education as electrical, mechanical or computer science engineer (ETH/TU/FH) or comparable training.

• Alignment of customer requirements with generic product and creation of Project-specific System Description.
• Creation of project-specific documentation like Interface Specifications, customer Manuals, Release Notes, BoM etc
• Configuration of CBTC sub-systems according to system requirements and project characteristics
• Support assembly, installation, test and commissioning as well as homologation and any other project activity needed
• Coordination with internal teams, customers, suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
• Work in bid teams to complete the technical part of bids, ensuring customer requirements are met while the solution is aligned with the generic product

How You Will Contribute

• Completed technical education as electrical, mechanical or computer science engineer (ETH/TU/FH) or comparable training
• Several years of project experience in Railway Signalling. Prior involvement in CBTC projects is a highly advantageous asset
• Knowledge of Railway Signalling principles and practices (CBTC and/or mainline Interlocking)
• Experience in Requirements management with IBM Doors Next Generation (DNG) Tool
• English and French or German at fluent level (spoken and written). Any other language is considered a plus
• Team player, independent, goal- and solution-orientated
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%)
