Zusammenfassung

KPMG AG in Zurich seeks a Consultant – Deal Advisory in Valuation & Financial Modelling to conduct valuations, build complex financial models, and support M&A, tax planning and accounting valuations in an international context.

The role involves interacting with clients, collaborating with cross-functional experts, and contributing to proposals and marketing initiatives; strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and a Master’s in Finance or Accounting are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• First professional experience in corporate finance in an international environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a prerequisite.
• Strong numerical, analytical and modelling skills; solid knowledge of financial analysis and traditional valuation methods (e.g., DCF, multiples).
• Knowledge of valuation methods for securities (options, derivatives) and modelling techniques (Monte‑Carlo, lattice models) is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to set priorities in a complex, demanding environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French, English and German; additional languages a plus.

Aufgaben

• Conduct valuations (companies, intangible assets) and financial analyses, market research, capital market and cost of capital analyses.
• Develop complex, integrated financial models.
• Participate in engagements such as fairness opinions, pricing analyses for M&A transactions, valuations for accounting and tax planning, or arbitrations.
• Value complex financial instruments (options, derivatives, structured products).
• Work with large internationals and mid-market firms, often in an international environment.
• Interact with clients and collaborate with due diligence, restructuring, accounting, tax and legal experts.
• Assist in proposal work and marketing initiatives.
