Luxoft in Zürich, Switzerland, is seeking a senior UX designer to lead end-to-end UX ownership for a new cloud platform in the dental and oral health domain. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and clinical experts to shape user experiences across a high-load, global application.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 6+ years in UX design for complex B2B workflows, fluency in Business English, and comfort with design tools like Figma and the Adobe suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Design, UX, HCI, or related field.
• 6+ years as UX/product designer or interaction designer, including ownership of complex areas.
• Strong portfolio of UX design projects.
• Experience designing complex, workflow-driven B2B apps in clinical/medical/CAD domains.
• Experience with global multi-disciplinary teams throughout the design process.
• Experience applying UCD methodologies (prototyping, user journeys, personas).
• Business English fluency.
• Proficiency with design tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, Figma, Sketch.
• Willingness to visit the office twice per week.

As part of the Company's strategic evolution, we are participating in the development of a new cloud platform that will combine the high quality of the Company's current intellectual property with the power of Cloud technologies. As part of the team, you will have a unique chance to increase the quality of dental services all over the world and to work with professionals from around the globe on a high-load, high-demand system.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End UX Ownership: Independently drive UX topics from problem definition and requirements clarification through concept development, validation, detailed design, handover, and implementation follow-up. Work effectively with evolving requirements and multiple stakeholders
• UX Scoping: Collaborate with other UX team members and stakeholders to scope UX requirements
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Create UX-research–informed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specifications to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively
• Design Implementation & Quality: Work closely with development and design system teams to translate UX concepts into reusable components, provide detailed Figma specifications, review implementation, and identify and resolve UX/design inconsistencies during development and QA
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, other UX team members (including the design system team), software developers, and clinical experts to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into the clinical application development process
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in tech and dental care to continuously enhance the user experience and push the boundaries of innovation

Skills

Must have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience as a UX/product designer or interaction designer, including experience independently owning complex product areas
• A strong portfolio of previous UX design projects, showcasing the designs and the process taken to arrive at the final solution
• Experience designing complex, workflow-driven B2B applications, ideally involving clinical, medical, CAD/3D, engineering, or other technically complex domains where users make expert decisions
• Experience working with a global multi-disciplinary team of UX professionals, Product/Solution Managers, and Architects/technical leads and UX researchers throughout the design process
• Experience in choosing and applying various UCD methodologies such as prototyping, user journeys, user personas, etc.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for user experience best practices
• Business English fluency is a must
• Experience in designing complex B2B products is advantageous
• Proficiency with design tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch
• Proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI Assistants
• Possibility to visit the office twice per week.
