Ärztekasse Genossenschaft in the Zurich area seeks an experienced UX Designer to elevate the UX of our healthcare software for doctors and billing. You will shape the look and feel of our products and create intuitive, efficient interfaces.

Join an agile Scrum team to deliver wireframes, user flows, mockups, clickable prototypes and visual designs, while maintaining a modern, timeless design system across web and native apps.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience designing and implementing web applications.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills.

• Proficient in German and English; French would be a plus.

Ärztekasse develops software for doctors and healthcare professionals to support our core business. As UX Designer you will shape the future look and feel of our products for doctor offices, patient billing and eHealth services.

We are looking for an experienced and focused UX Designer who wants to push the UX of our products some levels up to state of the art. You will have the freedom and the challenge to shape a unique design and handling of Ärztekasse products.

Our clients are primarily professionals (B2B) who want to work very efficiently and quickly (e.g. also with keyboard short-cuts, any additional unnecessary confirmation should be avoided). The amount of data to be presented is large and nested, which must be strongly considered conceptually. Interaction patterns must be standardised to optimise navigation and not confuse users. What is needed is an elegant, timeless, yet modern, stylish, intuitive, efficient system without unnecessary gimmicks. As simple as possible but not simpler.

Main Tasks

• Design of user-friendly and mobile-compatible web applications (progressive and hybrid apps)
• Creation of wireframes, user flows, mockups, clickable prototypes and visual design
• Creation of UI layouts for web applications and native apps and maintenance of our design system
• Visual design of concepts for different devices
• Research and benchmarking of current user experience
• Design and implementation of usability and A/B tests
• Work in an agile Scrum team together with Product Owner, Business Analysts, Backend and Frontend developers

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of design and implementation of web applications (please include your personal portfolio with your application)
• Experience in mobile design is an advantage
• Strong visual skills paired with interaction design
• Strong in conception and precise in execution
• Strong in communication across teams and roles
• Experience in working in dynamic teams
• Solid knowledge of modern tools (e.g Figma)
• Good knowledge of web technologies is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German and English. Knowledge of French would be a great plus
