Board is seeking a passionate UX Designer to join our dynamic UX team. Reporting to the Head of UX Design, you will influence product direction and drive innovation through user-centered design for our enterprise software.

Your responsibilities include collaborating with Product Managers, Owners, Developers and fellow designers to define clear, effective experiences, and to iterate designs with wireframes, prototypes and design specs that translate user needs into business outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in UX design with a strong portfolio.
• Experience with enterprise software is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers, engineers and other designers.

We are looking for a passionate and innovative User Experience Designer (UX Designer) to join our dynamic UX team. Reporting to the Head of UX Design, you will have the opportunity to influence the product direction and drive innovation through your expertise in user-centered design. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and fellow designers to define and help implement clear, effective, and user-centered experiences for our enterprise software.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand the solution/product goals and design requirements.
• Translate user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements into clear, intuitive, and effective design solutions.
• Rapidly create and iterate designs using conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and interactive prototypes while ensuring the delivery of clear, detailed design specifications.
• Apply design solutions directly within the Board platform, using its built-in design capabilities to create usable interfaces, data-rich views, and business-oriented workflows while adapting to platform constraints.
• Leverage our pattern library to create designs and identify opportunities to expand it by working closely with the UI infrastructure team.
• Communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and user-centered design processes effectively.
• Contribute to evolving design standards and guidelines to enhance overall user experience quality across all of Board's solutions/products.
• Apply usability heuristics and stay current with design best practices to evaluate new and existing features, offering valuable suggestions for improvement

What we look for:

• Academic background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Proven experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Experience with enterprise software is a plus
• Good knowledge of user-centered and iterative design processes, usability principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Figma is required; experience with other design tools is welcome
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows, prototyping, and design-to-code collaboration, including experience with tools such as Figma Make, Cursor, or similar platforms, is also valued
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus and can support effective collaboration with engineering teams
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) is a plus
• Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Product Owners, and Engineers
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate design rationale clearly to different stakeholders
• Experience or domain knowledge in enterprise planning processes such as supply chain, forecasting, assortment and replenishment in retail, and financial planning is considered an advantage
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
