Ageas, a leading international insurer, invites applications for an underwriting assistant in our Brussels and Zurich offices. You will support underwriters, handle documentation, and maintain accurate risk records to help deliver top-tier service to clients and brokers.

Working with Claims, Accounting, Finance and IT teams, you will ensure compliance, maintain contracts, and prepare briefing materials for meetings. Fluent English and a proactive, detail-driven mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the retail or financial services industries, ideally as an underwriting support.
• Knowledge of reinsurance and contract structures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.
• Proactive and reliable; team player.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are assets.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with underwriters and support selected underwriting activities.
• Assist with documentation, filing, tracking, and sanctions screening.
• Prepare contracts for signature and manage documentation.
• Enter risk and contract data into the administration system accurately.
• Prepare reports and briefing materials for meetings and client visits.
• Coordinate with Claims, Accounting, Finance and IT teams to ensure smooth communication.
• Support high workload periods with underwriting assistants.
