Novartis is seeking a Research Scientist II, Immunology in Basel to drive translational studies on B cell‑driven autoimmune diseases. You will design and execute preclinical and translational experiments, including complex flow cytometry, using human samples to inform targets and biomarkers.

The role requires MSc in immunology or related field with 3+ years of interdisciplinary experience, strong experimental skills, and collaboration with data scientists.

Qualifikationen

• MSc degree in Immunology, Biology, Molecular Medicine or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant research experience bridging clinical and preclinical evidence.
• Hands-on mastery of routine immunological and cell biology assays including flow cytometry and qPCR.

• Contribute to drug discovery and exploratory projects in autoimmune diseases.
• Collaborate with data scientists to design hypothesis-driven experiments and model disease biology.
• Plan and run mechanistic experiments using human biosamples to inform project decisions.
• Develop translational biomarker strategies to support clinical development.
• Lead cross-functional project team activities and maintain organized data records.
