Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education, ideally a degree from a Swiss Technikerschule(HF) in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Several years of practical experience in industrial manufacturing, production engineering, or tooling and fixture design.
• Proven experience in designing operating resources for turbines or large-scale rotating equipment.
• Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling concepts, and measurement strategies.
• Proficiency in SAP and, ideally, TDM or similar production-related systems.
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken is a must.

Aufgaben

• Manage the design and construction of specialized tools, measuring equipment, and fixtures for gas turbines, steam turbines, and generator rotors
• Ensure the availability and on-time delivery of all required operating resources through internal manufacturing or external partners
• Define and optimize tool, measurement, and manufacturing concepts in close collaboration with production and engineering
• Develop machining strategies, calculate cutting parameters, and maintain TDM tool lists and related master data
• Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities, including quotations, cost comparisons, and technical drawing reviews
• Monitor process performance, tool consumption, and costs, initiating corrective actions and design improvements as needed
