Thermal Energy Storage Researcher Engineer

Today, we are a dynamic and growing company specialized in solar technologies and developing high tech low consuming devices.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Thermal Energy Storage Researcher Engineer to join our team in our new brand offices in Ecublens – Lausanne Area.

YOUR MISSION

  • Design and development of new thermal energy management and storage systems for new applications in H.Glass products
  • Development of thermal energy storage materials with improved specific capacitance and latent heat; designation of thermal energy management systems and exchange systems; designation of light management and photo-thermal system integrated with the thermal storage system
  • Assess and screen materials and systems under development or in the market according to the requirements of H. Glass products
  • Work with other R&D team members to develop prototypes
  • Assess key metrics in pilot-level and mass-produced products
  • Developing H.Glass intellectual property in areas of design and implementation through patent activity

YOUR PROFILE

  • M.Phil. or Ph. D. in energy and power, chemical engineering, material science or similar majors
  • Mastering thermal energy storage and management procedure and mechanisms
  • Experience in designing thermal energy systems, thermal batteries or phase changing materials is preferred
  • Knowledge of thermal flow design and thermal insulation designs are also preferred
  • Experience in photo-thermal materials and systems, light managements are also preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team
  • Proficient level in English
