For our Vevey-based Laboratory, we are looking for a Test Engineer.

Your mission:

1. Responsible for the coordination and planning of the hydraulic development of pump-turbines for hydropower plant projects
2. Responsible for the planning of experiments and execution of measurements of model turbines (mainly pump-turbines and Pelton) in the hydraulic laboratory
3. Operation of test rigs in hydraulic laboratory
4. Analyze data and prepare documentation of tests and results
5. Organizing and leading Acceptance Tests with customers
6. Participation in maintenance, calibration, certification and continuous improvement of measurement equipment, test rigs and laboratory facility
7. Provide hydraulic technical support to other stakeholders in hydropower plant projects

Your profile:

1. Master's degree or higher in mechanical engineering
2. Knowledge of hydraulic turbines, especially pump turbines is an advantage
3. Knowledge of project management concepts
4. Work with a very high level of autonomy
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Relevant professional experience in the hydropower sector an asset
7. Experience in measurement data analysis and processing an asset
8. Good knowledge of French and English, additional foreign language is an advantage
9. Flexibility, reliability, team orientation as well as commitment and willingness to travel complement your profile
