Hitachi Energy in Ticino is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium-size LV & MV Transformer and Reactor projects. You will ensure delivery in line with Hitachi Energy policy, quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, resource planning, cost monitoring, and vendor coordination, with collaboration across multiple stakeholders and time-sensitive execution.

Qualifikationen

• Electrical or mechanical engineering background.
• 2–3 years proven experience in Project Management with focus on Transformers and Reactors.
• Collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge of English and Italian; other languages a plus.
• Strong communicator, self-driven and open-minded.
• Structured and organized with ability to work under time pressure.
• Team-player capable of building and motivating a project team.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Team in our Business Unit Transformers, Ticino.

In this role you are leading the execution of medium-size projects mainly related to LV & MV Transformers and Reactors and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health & safety and environment requirements.

How you’ll make an impact

• Developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements
• Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
• Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)
• Manage After‑Sales projects by ensuring the fulfillment of customer needs
• Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
• May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)
• On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables

Your background
