Technical Migration Lead

Experis IT is on the search for a Technical Migration Lead to join one of their clients, a well-known IT Consultancy company. This exciting temporary opportunity is only open to candidates with relevant experience. If you're looking to take your career to the next level, please read on!

Location: about 20% need to be delivered onsite in Zürich (~11 days); those onsite days can be delivered in blocks of 2 days; Possibility of full remote to be discussed with customer.

Project: We are looking for a Technical Migration Lead supporting a RISE Cloud Migration (Lift & Shift) project of 4 SAP landscapes. The main goal is to migrate the customer's current on-premise landscape to the SAP Cloud on RISE.

Your Responsibilities:

• First contact for PM/customer for technical migration topics (OS/DB) (to RISE landscape).
• Describe migration prerequisites (user accounts, tools, network settings,...).
• Create cutover lists for migration of landscapes in scope.
• Host migration preparation meetings and follow up on progress of migration preparation.
• Advise customer on technical migration topics.
• Identify and manage potential migration issues.
• Interaction with SAP ECS Technology Experts (PL and TL) and SDC Migration Factory.

Your Skills:

• SAP Basis and system migration expertise.
• Knowledge of SAP RISE and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SAP tools (SWPM, SUM, DMO) and cutover planning.
• Project Management: strong organizational and planning skills, ability to create and manage cutover lists and timelines.
• Communication: excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Certifications (Preferred): SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Basis, SAP Migration); Cloud platform certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Fluency in German is a must.
