Job summary

Akkodis, part of The Adecco Group, invites applications for a Technical Drafter to support the engineering team in creating 2D drawings for aircraft insulation bag assemblies. You will work under the supervision of an experienced Design Engineer in an aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include creating and updating 2D drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and quality of documentation, and collaborating with engineers to meet technical requirements.

About the Role

For one of our clients in the aerospace industry, we are looking for a Technical Drafter to support the engineering team in the creation of 2D technical drawings for aircraft insulation bag assemblies.

You will work closely with and under the supervision of an experienced Design Engineer, contributing to technical drafting activities within an aerospace environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare technical drawings for aircraft insulation bag assemblies.
• Work closely with Design Engineers to understand technical specifications and drawing requirements.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineering feedback.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of technical documentation.
• Support the engineering team with drafting-related tasks.

Your Profile

• Technical education or professional experience in CAD drafting, mechanical design or a related field.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Ability to read, interpret and prepare technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and a structured, accurate working approach.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work collaboratively with engineers.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in aerospace or manufacturing is an advantage but not mandatory.
