Fincons Group, Lugano branch, seeks PL/SQL Developers with banking sector experience for full-time roles in Financial Services projects. You will design, implement and maintain robust PL/SQL solutions, collaborating with agile teams on international initiatives.

Candidates should have a scientific degree, strong PL/SQL skills, and knowledge of SWIFT; fluency in Italian and English is required. Relocation to Canton Ticino may be necessary; Swiss employment contract offered.

Formación

• Scientific degree / master in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• Proven banking sector experience.
• Solid PL/SQL development experience.
• Knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX is a strong plus.
• German/English/Italian language proficiency as applicable to the role.

Job Overview

For our Lugano Branch we are searching for professionals to be included in our organization. In particular, we are looking for PL/SQL Developers with experience in the Banking sector to be part on full-time mode of innovative and international projects in Financial Services area.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review and analyse customer requests and processes, transform them into structured requirements, evaluate possible scenarios and recommend the best possible business and IT solutions
• Design, develop, document and maintain thought-out solutions within the team's responsibility
• Work on implementation and testing of newly built functionalities
• Analysis and management of customer issues, manage client interaction during testing phase, taking care of bug fixing and potential change requests
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, business analysts, and other software engineers
• Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications and timelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Scientific degree / master, preferably in computer science, engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in the Banking sector
• Solid experience in PL/SQL development
• Proven ability to analyze technical requirements and deliver robust, maintainable solutions
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards (MT and/or MX) is a strong plus
• Java / J2EE programming skills would be an advantage
• Understanding of ETL processes, Database Management Systems, Relational databases and SQL is a plus
• Good command of spoken and written Italian and English is mandatory
