Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a similar role at a Swiss bank.
• Commercial or banking education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian; good German and/or English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Handle counter activities including cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, currency exchange and payments.
• Open new banking relationships in compliance with KYC/AML requirements.
• Present and offer retail products and services (accounts, cards, savings, pension, and payments).
• Support day-to-day branch operations and administration.
• Take responsibility for an assigned client portfolio as you settle into the role.
• Manage client relationships and identify needs and cross-selling opportunities.
• Work in compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Your role

You will be responsible for branch operations and client relations, and will also help promote retail products and services.
In particular, you will:

• Handle counter activities, including cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, currency exchange and payments
• Open new banking relationships in compliance with KYC and anti-money laundering requirements
• Present and offer retail products and services, including accounts, cards, savings, pension and payment solutions
• Support the day‑to‑day operations and administration of the branch
• As you settle into the role, you will also take responsibility for an assigned client portfolio
• Manage client relationships, identifying their needs and cross‑selling opportunities
• Work in compliance with internal guidelines, control processes and regulatory requirements

The profile we are looking for

• At least one year of experience in a similar role at a Swiss bank
• Commercial or banking education (e.g. commercial apprenticeship, banking track) or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge of Italian, good knowledge of German and/or English; knowledge of French is an asset
• Good command of Microsoft Office and IT tools
• Accuracy, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Client and business development orientation
• Good communication skills, team spirit and flexibility
• Resident in Ticino
