Job summary

Fincons Group in Lugano is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in deploying and configuring Java/Spring Boot-based applications to join our team on an exciting banking project.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage runtime environments for Java/Spring Boot microservices in containerized or virtualized settings, and collaborate with international teams to ensure fast, secure delivery. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience deploying and configuring Java/Spring Boot web applications in CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in core DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus; strong Linux/Unix scripting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

For our Lugano Office , we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in deploying and configuring Java/Spring boot-based applications to join our team for an exciting banking project.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the automation, reliability, and scalability of CI/CD pipelines supporting a complex banking web application. You’ll play a key role in enabling fast and secure delivery of Java/Spring Boot services, working at the intersection of development, infrastructure, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the build, test, and deployment lifecycle of web applications
• Manage and support the runtime environment of Java/Spring Boot microservices in containerized or virtualized environments
• Monitor application performance and health using Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools
• Troubleshoot deployment and runtime issues across dev, staging, and production environments
• Work closely with development teams to understand integration needs and ensure seamless delivery pipelines
• Maintain clear documentation and foster active collaboration with international teams and stakeholders

• Proven experience deploying and configuring Java/Spring Boot web applications in CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in core DevOps tools, such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab etc.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Hands-on experiencewith Graphana and Prometheus
• Solid Linux know-how and proficiency in Unix Shell scripting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  Location Requirement:

• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland)or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese, etc.)
