Job summary

RIVR Technologies AG is hiring a hands-on hardware test leader to define end-to-end test strategies for structural, mechatronic, and sensing subsystems. You will design, commission, and operate test benches, develop automation scripts, and analyze data to drive design improvements.

You will mentor engineers and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems teams to ensure robust testing and qualification of real-world robotic delivery systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in hardware testing or validation.
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Experience designing and commissioning test benches for electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong Python for test automation, device control, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of sensors, instrumentation and calibration.
• Experience developing and reviewing test plans and qualification criteria.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end test strategy for structural, mechatronic, and sensing subsystems.
• Design, commission, and operate test benches for mechatronics systems including fixture design and safety concepts.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, LabVIEW) to control test hardware and run tests.
• Process and analyze test data to extract meaningful performance metrics.
• Mentor and grow test engineers and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems teams.
