Zusammenfassung

Leonteq in Switzerland seeks an experienced Securities Lending Trader to drive lending/borrowing, negotiate terms, and optimize collateral and revenue. You will work with Treasury, Trading, Structuring, Risk and Legal to ensure compliant, efficient workflows in a fast-paced market.

The role requires 3–5 years in securities lending or related trading, strong analytical and negotiating skills, and advanced Excel/SQL/Python capabilities.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
• 3–5 years in Securities Lending, Securities Finance, Repo or Derivatives Trading.
• Active trading with disciplined risk management.
• Understanding of equity/fixed-income settlement mechanics.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and actions.
• Experience with counterparties and stakeholders; strong communication.
• Interest in financial markets and continuous learning mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Familiarity with GMSLA, GMRA, ISDA.
• Attention to detail and risk/P&L discipline.

Aufgaben

• Trade and price securities lending and borrowing; negotiate fees and tenor with banks.
• Secure borrow to cover short positions and trading strategies; manage collateral.
• Allocate securities to optimize inventory and lending revenue.
• Monitor daily P&L, positions, fees and counterparty exposures.
• Manage loan recalls, renewals and settlements; mitigate failures.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Trading, Structuring, Risk, Legal and Ops.
• Identify opportunities via data analysis and automation with tech teams.
• Maintain compliance within trading mandates and limits.
