Leonteq AG is seeking a collateral manager in our Global Treasury team based in Zurich. You will manage daily cash and collateral activities across multiple exposures, engage with external counterparties, and ensure timely processing and issue resolution.

The role requires experience in collateral management, derivatives, and strong analytical skills. Fluency in English is essential, with additional languages considered a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline.
• Several years of collateral management experience with relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of Securities Financing products and processes.
• Experience with cash and non-cash collateral management, reconciliations, settlements.
• Knowledge of derivatives and structured products.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills; additional coding skills are a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Contribute to collateral management infrastructure improvements and automation.
• Identify optimization opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Serve as a key contact between clients, internal partners and operations.
• Share knowledge with team and participate in collateral/securities finance projects.

What you'll do

• Manage daily cash and collateral activities within the Global Treasury team based in Zurich
• Manage cash and non-cash collateral across OTC, ETD, GMSLA, GMRA, TCM, CTA, and other exposures
• Manage relationships with external collateral counterparties and service providers, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure all day-to-day collateral processes are performed accurately and within required timeframes, including the resolution of ad hoc queries and requests
• Take ownership of breaks, reconciliations, disputes and other operational issues, ensuring timely investigation and resolution
• Monitor collateral positions and identify potential operational, liquidity and counterparty risks, escalating issues where appropriate
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the collateral management infrastructure, including triparty collateral management, automation and process improvements
• Identify optimization opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiency within the collateral management function and support the implementation of agreed solutions
• Act as a key point of contact between clients, internal business partners and operations, ensuring effective coordination and communication
• Support and share knowledge with other team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
• Participate in projects and initiatives related to collateral management, securities finance and operational change

What you'll need

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline
• Several years of experience in collateral management and relevant applications (e.g. TriOptima, TriResolve, Acadia)
• Good understanding of Securities Financing products and processes
• Experience with cash and non-cash collateral management, reconciliations, settlements, margining or related processes
• Knowledge of derivatives and structured products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate and resolve operational issues
• Advanced Excel skills and a good level of technical aptitude, other coding skills are a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Pragmatic and proactive approach, with strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work under time pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
• Flexible, driven and collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership
