Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers in a rotor and generator manufacturing environment, ensuring technical documentation, equipment, and tools are available on time and meet quality standards.
  • Define team priorities, drive improvement initiatives, and coach team members.
  • Identify career development paths and manage resource allocation through polyvalence.
  • Act as a liaison for engineering initiatives across sites and disciplines, developing a strong global network.
  • Plan and oversee development projects, process improvements, and new product introductions (NPI).
  • Manage budgets and CAPEX for rotor and generator projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments (FMEA) and cost-benefit analyses for new developments and process optimizations.
  • Support NCR processing collaboratively with quality and production teams.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with extensive knowledge of rotor and generator design and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience in leading technical and disciplinary teams.
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong leadership qualities, decision-making, communication, and assertiveness.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous.
