Job summary

Evatec, based in Switzerland, seeks a System Engineer Product Development to own and evolve product portfolios across the lifecycle, coordinating mechanics, electronics and software. You will collaborate with Product Management to translate requirements into coherent system specifications and drive sustainable solutions.

The role requires 3–8 years in a technical industrial setting, plus fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

Degree or advanced qualification in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, CS, or related field.
3–8 years of experience in plant engineering, product development, or a technical industrial setting.
Strong analytical skills and a systematic problem-solving approach.
Excellent communication across disciplines and stakeholders.
Fluency in German and English in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve products across the lifecycle with product management.
Translate requirements into system specifications for mechanics, electronics and software.
Investigate technical issues at system level and coordinate root-cause analyses.
Provide technical leadership across disciplines and align with product objectives.
Shape product strategy with Product Management and assess opportunities/risks.
