Evatec AG in Switzerland is seeking an Assembly Automation Technician / Electrical Installer to test and optimize high-tech production equipment and support commissioning activities. You will work on vacuum, control and high-voltage engineering, analyzing issues and implementing reliable technical solutions with cross-functional teams.

You will contribute to installation, commissioning, and process verification, collaborating with Engineering, Development and Manufacturing to improve system

Qualifikationen

• Technical background: vocational training as Automation Technician or Electrical Installer
• Solid electrical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of control systems, vacuum tech or high-voltage tech is beneficial
• Independent, hands-on, reliable with focus on quality
• Basic IT and German language skills

• Test production equipment: perform functional testing on production systems and ensure reliable operation
• Analyse and resolve faults: identify issues, determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Support new equipment projects: contribute to installation, commissioning and optimisation activities using your electrical expertise

Job Description

Would you like to work on high-tech production equipment instead of carrying out the same installations day after day? In this role, you will test and optimise complex production systems while ensuring their reliable operation. You will work with technologies in the fields of vacuum, control and high-voltage engineering, analyse technical issues and support the commissioning of new equipment. Together with Engineering, Development and Manufacturing, you will help implement effective technical solutions.

What you will be doing

• check Test production equipment: perform functional testing on production systems and ensure reliable operation
• check Analyse and resolve faults: systematically identify issues, determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• check Support new equipment projects: contribute to installation, commissioning and optimisation activities using your electrical expertise
• check Verify processes: carry out coating tests and collaborate closely with the relevant technical teams
• check Develop technical solutions: work with Engineering, Development and Manufacturing to solve technical challenges and improve system performance

What you should bring

• check Technical background: completed vocational training as an Automation Technician, Electrical Installer, or an equivalent technical profession
• check Electrical know-how: solid understanding of electrical systems and a structured approach to troubleshooting
• check Industrial experience is an advantage: knowledge of control systems, vacuum technology or high-voltage technology is beneficial
• check Independent working style: hands-on, responsible and reliable, with a focus on quality and precision
• check Basic IT and language skills: confident using MS Office and able to communicate in German and basic English
