System Engineer - Network Admin - Bern - 120,000 CHF

Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with a passion for IT infrastructure, networking, and support?

We are working with a leading company in the Swiss market, looking to strengthen their team with a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to take on key responsibilities in IT infrastructure management and support operations. If you have a strong technical background and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, I want to hear from you!

Day to Day Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with your team to ensure the smooth operation and ongoing development of the company's IT infrastructure.
2. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert support, analysing and resolving issues, acting as the liaison between internal teams and external partners.
3. Project Participation: Play an active role in the planning, implementation, and management of IT projects, overseeing sub-areas of key initiatives.

Ideal Background / Experience:

1. Technical Qualifications: Completed training as an IT specialist (EFZ) in systems engineering or a comparable qualification.
2. Experience: Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure management, network administration, and support roles.
3. Network Administration: Very good knowledge of network administration (experience with HP Aruba is a plus).
4. Firewall Administration: Strong skills in managing firewall solutions (experience with Palo Alto is advantageous).
5. VoIP & CTI Systems: Solid understanding of VoIP systems and CTI solutions.
6. Microsoft Products: Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Windows Server 2016-2022, SQL Server 2016-2022, Active Directory, and PowerShell.
7. Language Skills: Fluency in German and English is required; French is a plus.
8. Other Requirements: A driving license (Category B) and the flexibility to travel across the German- and French-speaking regions of Switzerland is highly beneficial.
