BRUSA Elektronik AG in Buchs (CH) is seeking a System Architect specializing in Functional Safety to shape the next generation of wireless charging systems. You will own the system architecture, safety concepts and cross-functional interface definitions across hardware, software and mechanical domains.

You will lead safety analyses and ASPICE-driven development, ensuring traceability from customer requirements through to validation while balancing timing, cost and quality.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in automotive system engineering, including system architecture.
• Experience leading complex automotive system development from concept to SOP.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive functional safety processes.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, requirements engineering, ASPICE and V-model development.
• Strong leadership with cross-functional influence.
• Analytical and problem-solving with data-driven approach.
• Strategic, systems-thinking mindset balancing technical, business and safety.

Aufgaben

• Define and maintain the overall system architecture and technical roadmap for the wireless charging system
• Define system partitioning, interfaces and functional allocation across Hardware, Software and Mechanical domains
• Lead architecture reviews, trade-off analysis and technical decision making
• Analyze customer, regulatory and stakeholder requirements and derive system requirements according to ASPICE
• Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability from customer requirements to system implementation and validation
• Define safety mechanisms and support safety test case creation
• Develop the item definition, HARA, Functional Safety Concept and Technical Safety Concept
• Lead safety analysis including FMEA, FMEDA, FTA and DFA
• Coordinate and support functional safety assessments, audits and reviews with customers and certification bodies
