The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with at least 7 years in the automotive software field and 3 years in Functional Safety. Responsibilities include developing technical concepts, supporting safety managers, and ensuring compliance with relevant processes. Strong analytical skills and very good English are required, while German language skills are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• At least 7 years of experience in the automotive software field and 3 years in the area of Functional Safety (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
• Practical experience with Infineon AURIX microcontrollers; knowledge of STM32 is a plus.

• Development of technical concepts for implementing functional safety features in an embedded software environment.
• Supporting the Functional Safety Manager in creating and reviewing the Functional Safety Concept (FSC) and system requirements.
• Performing software safety analyses (e.g., DSA, FMEA for software).
