A leading company seeks a Sustainable Agronomy Manager located in Geneva to develop agricultural strategies aligned with corporate goals and oversee CSR activities. This role requires a university degree in agronomy and extensive experience in agriculture, particularly within the FMCG sector. The successful candidate will possess strategic thinking skills and fluency in English and German.
Sustainable Agronomy Manager - Procurement - located in Geneva (w/m/d)
You will develop medium to long-term agricultural strategies aligned with corporate and SBTi goals.
You will coordinate CSR activities with the CSR department and international procurement team.
You will align agricultural activities with the sustainability and corporate strategies of the Lorenz Group.
You will lead projects related to agriculture and promote strategic partnerships.
You will stay updated on innovations and new technologies in agriculture.
You will develop and promote strategies for regenerative agriculture.
You will monitor crop and technology developments and derive measures for cost optimization.
You will develop results and recommendations and coordinate with stakeholders.
You will assess risks in the supplier portfolio regarding sustainability.
You will support compliance with legal regulations (LKSG, EUDR, CSRD).
You hold a university degree in agronomy, agricultural science, engineering, or equivalent.
You have 3-5 years of experience in agriculture, preferably with CSR projects and in the FMCG or food industry.
You can build strong networks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
You are a strategic thinker, responsible, and capable of driving organizational change.
You demonstrate intercultural competence, excellent communication skills, and are a result-oriented team player.
You are fluent in English and German; Polish is an advantage.
