Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Sustainability Engineer for our Neuchâtel site to develop and maintain Environmental, Health and Safety programs that align with our sustainability strategy and protect product quality.

You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, and provide practical guidance to employees and leadership to implement risk elimination initiatives with site-wide impact. Collaboration with internal and regulatory bodies is required.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering (Safety, Environmental, Chemical, Process, EH&S) or related field.
• Experience or qualifications related to MSST/ASA, ISO 14001/ISO 45001

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on core environmental topics including climate change, biodiversity, and water stewardship to provide input to corporate sustainability programs
• Monitor global macro trends and explore alternative data sources to identify risks and opportunities that support sustainability leadership and regulatory compliance

We have a new Sustainability Engineer vacancy in Neuchatel, and we are searching for someone who will support our factory in developing robust Environmental, Health and Safety programs that comply with our sustainability strategies, ensure safe working environments and protect product quality.

In this role, you will engage closely with internal and external communities and regulatory bodies, conduct inspections and risk assessments across shop-floor and laboratory environments, and provide practical support to employees and leadership team members at all levels in implementation of risk elimination initiatives to have a site‑wide impact!

Impact You’ll Own

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs that directly contribute to increased compliance, employee awareness and reduced HS&E incidents
• Identify HS&E improvement opportunities and then design and deliver the actions that adjust systems and processes
• Engage and maintain relationships with all stakeholder groups impacted by the environmental performance of the organization
