Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Satigny, Geneva, Switzerland seeks a Site Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the site CI roadmap and transformation programs across manufacturing processes. You will manage a portfolio of projects focused on service, productivity, cost, quality, and capacity, while embedding a data-driven improvement culture.

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.

• Experience with OT/Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing.

• Excellent stakeholder management across levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the site-wide CI roadmap aligned with priorities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of improvement projects for service, productivity, cost, quality, and capacity.
• Drive measurable impact with robust value tracking (savings, productivity, P&L).
• Lead end-to-end performance improvement across the manufacturing value chain.
• Develop CI culture through coaching, capability building, and change management.
• Implement governance, performance management systems, and CI standards.
• Champion Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC, A3, root cause) and transformative projects.
• Drive OT adoption, digital transformation, and predictive maintenance.
• Improve efficiency via automation, digitalization, and data-driven decisions.
• Partner with Ops, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Digital teams.

Job title - Site Senior Continuous Improvement Manager (81589)

Location – Satigny, Geneva, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the site-wide Continuous Improvement (CI) roadmap aligned with business and operational priorities.
• Build and manage a pipeline of improvement projects focused on service, productivity, cost, quality, and capacity optimization.
• Drive measurable business impact through robust value tracking, including savings, productivity gains, and P&L contribution.
• Lead end-to-end performance improvement initiatives across the manufacturing value chain.
• Develop and embed a strong Continuous Improvement culture through coaching, capability building, and change management.
• Implement and sustain performance management systems, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement standards.
• Champion Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, A3, Root Cause Analysis, waste elimination) and lead high-impact transformation projects.
• Drive digital transformation and Operational Technology (OT) adoption to enhance performance monitoring, process stability, and predictive maintenance.
• Improve operational efficiency, throughput, and process robustness through automation, digitalization, and data-driven decision making.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Digital teams to ensure alignment, best-practice sharing, and sustainable execution of improvement initiatives.

You Bring:

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with a proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation programs.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, ideally within highly automated operations.
• Strong expertise in Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies.
• Solid understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, operations, and performance management systems.
• Demonstrated success in driving measurable business results through process optimization and change initiatives.
• Experience with Operational Technology (OT), Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, or smart factory solutions.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams while fostering a continuous improvement culture.
• Strong coaching and talent development skills, with the ability to build internal capability and expertise.
• Experience leading cultural and behavioral transformation across complex organizations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
