Position: Sustainability Coordinator CSRD

Location: Fribourg, Switzerland

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (5 days/week, onsite)

️ Travel: 20-30 days/year (Africa, Asia)

We are actively seeking a Sustainability Coordinator CSRD to join a dynamic team based in Fribourg, Switzerland. This strategic role involves leading the company’s sustainability strategy, ensuring compliance with ESG regulations, and contributing to the development of impactful sustainability reports.

We require a candidate who is fluent in both French and English and has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Ideal Profile:

• Education: Master’s degree in Law, Sustainable Development, or a multidisciplinary field with a legal foundation (specialisation in regulatory compliance or CSR is an advantage).

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role focused on ESG compliance, CSR reporting, or non-financial auditing, preferably in an international environment.

• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of CSRD and ESRS standards and ESG reporting practices.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities.
• Proficiency in French and English (minimum C1 level).
• Excellent writing and organisational skills.

• Personal Qualities:
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and work autonomously.
• Team player with strong collaborative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following four key pillars within the company :

1. Regulatory and Legal Monitoring:
2. Analyze and track the evolution of CSRD and ESRS regulations, supporting teams in their implementation.
3. ESG Risk Assessment:
4. Conduct ESG risk assessments, collaborate with the CFO and leadership teams to analyze the financial impact.
5. Sustainability Reporting:
6. Coordinate the preparation of CSRD sustainability reports, manage ESG data, and set both short- and long-term sustainability goals.
7. Audit Support:
8. Work closely with the audit team to ensure the accuracy and compliance of ESG-related information and provide necessary documentation.
