Student Assistant — Teaching Analytics & Strategy

Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich's Strategy and Analytics Team seeks a student assistant to support the QdL project by preparing and analyzing teaching activity data, turning results into clear charts and short presentations, and keeping project documentation in order. You will also support related projects with minor preparatory work, gaining a close view of how a university measures teaching engagement.

Approx. 10-15 hours per week, start date by arrangement and as soon as possible, remunerated based on hours

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's (from the 3rd semester) or Master's student at a Swiss university in psychology, sociology, education or a related social science.
• First experience in a teaching context, e.g., as a tutor or teaching assistant.
• Confident with Excel and comfortable working with structured data.
• Work accurately and in a structured way; pay attention to detail in data and documentation.
• Able to explain results concisely to non-analysts.
• Communicate confidently in German and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Preparing and structuring existing data sets and carrying out descriptive analyses (mainly in Excel).
• Turning results into charts, tables and short slide sets, and presenting them to the team.
• Documenting data sources, definitions and processing steps for traceability.
• Administrative support for the project, including documentation, correspondence, minute-taking, scheduling and filing.
• Assisting with meeting and workshop preparation, including materials and follow-up documentation.
• Basic desk research and preparatory work for related projects of the Strategy & Analytics Team.
