YOUR ROLE

As a Consultant in the Smart Plant practice within the Intelligent Industry team at Capgemini Invent Switzerland, you will help bring to life modern smart factory environments, where data and analytics enable machines and people to make intelligent, fact-based decisions that increase customer centricity, operational excellence, sustainability, and overall business value. You will work closely with leading industrial organizations to design and implement solutions powered by digitalization, analytics, smart modular technologies, and AI.

In This Role, You Will

• Collaborate with clients to define their vision, strategy, and transformation roadmap for manufacturing, operations, and supply chain optimization;
• Drive initiatives focused on energy and resource efficiency, supporting clients in achieving their sustainability goals;
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to drive operational excellence and implement predictive maintenance strategies;
• Design and deploy Digital Twin and Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions for real-time monitoring, simulation, and automation of industrial processes;
• Integrate Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies to support manufacturing proesses and quality control;
• Support end-to-end MES/MOM transformations, ensuring seamless integration across systems and processes.

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree in engineering, Science, Technology, or related fields with outstanding academic records;
• MES/MOM (Manufacturing Execution Systems / Manufacturing Operations Management), CBM & predictive/prescriptive maintenance solutions, Plant connectivity, IT/OT, digital twin, and connected worker applications (e.g. digital work instruction). Knowledge of process design, optimization, and implementation for smart plan operations;
• 2+ years of experience in management consulting or engineering operations in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or life science sectors. Exposure to project management for complex transformation projects using agile frameworks and tools is preferred;
• Structured work capacity and high analytical skills to solve complex problems with a positive mindset and enthusiasm, combined with eagerness to learn, adapt in uncertain situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Strong communication, moderation and presentation skills in English and either German (for Zurich) or French skills (for Geneva) are mandatory on the C1 level minimum;
• Very good MS Office skills;
• High reliability, team spirit, and personal fit for a leading global management consulting firm (international orientation & openness to travel, integrity).
