Zusammenfassung

Beyond Gravity in Emmen, Switzerland, is seeking a Project Lead Buyer to advance strategic procurement initiatives and supplier partnerships within a high-tech aerospace environment.

You will lead global sourcing, drive cost reductions, and secure material flow for prototypes and serial parts, collaborating with Project Management, Engineering, and Commodity Management to meet demanding milestones and quality targets.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical and/or commercial education and 3+ years in-depth procurement experience.
• Very good understanding of procurement tool-kit and methods.
• Experience in global sourcing and very good technical understanding.
• High awareness for costs and quality.

• High reliability and adherence to deadlines.
• Experience working in project environment and multifunctional teams.
• Experience in the use of SAP ERP system and related procurement administrative and control tasks.
• Space or Aerotec experience would be an advantage.
• Fluent English and German is a must.
• Lean and Six Sigma education & experience would be an asset.
• Sensible and emphatic communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Requests for quotation for prototype, flight and serial parts/materials as well as production required jigs & tools.
• Actively challenge the status quo (BOMs and supplier portfolio).
• Sourcing of possible suppliers based on the technical, economic and quality requirements.
• Support with the calculation for customer offers, providing procurement parts and materials cost overviews.
• Clarification of the technical feasibility with the suppliers and introduction of (alternative) solution proposals from suppliers in the concept phase (design to cost).
• Negotiating prices and conditions as well as establishing procurement contracts.
• Continuously optimizes total cost of ownership (TCO) and drives savings initiatives.
• Representation of purchasing interests in the product development process (BOM, specification/drawing availability, meeting cost targets and manufacturing deadlines).
• Ensure all externally sourced BOM parts, materials and jigs are available in line with the project milestones.
• Highlight potential deviations from plan (cost, time, quality), defining and ensuring counter actions.
• Maintenance of ERP procurement article data.
• Ensuring the sourcing in line with the company’s and general legal sourcing rules.
• Issuing and follow-up orders.
• Participation in supplier qualification and development.
• Issuing and follow-up on supplier quality claims.
