Zusammenfassung

Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland, seeks a Programme Planning Officer to coordinate the preparation of key strategic documents and to design and implement the Programme Plan in alignment with OHCHR priorities.

The role involves coordinating drafting with units and administration, establishing timelines, and advising senior management on resource implications and consistency across structures. English required; French desired.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree as specified or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum seven years progressive planning, monitoring, evaluation and management experience.
• Experience in human rights or development sectors at international level.
• Experience with results-based management and UN planning tools.
• Data analytics experience desirable.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate preparation of the High Commissioner’s Plan of Action and Strategic Management Plan.
• Design the plan and coordinate drafting with relevant units and administration.
• Establish timelines for programme work and ensure coherence across OHCHR units.
• Lead development of the Programme Plan and analyze work programmes for strategic alignment.
• Advise senior management on resource implications and organizational consistency.
• Support situation analyses and formulation of internal and external policy positions.
