Randstad in Switzerland seeks a dedicated Strategic Buyer Construction / Construction Services (80–100%) to strengthen a global procurement team for a world leader in industrial measurement engineering based in Reinach (BL).

In this role you will drive procurement strategies, manage high-impact CapEx investment projects, and ensure optimal cost structures, high quality and supplier reliability across global production sites.

Qualifikationen

• Requires degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in strategic procurement, construction, facility management or CapEx.
• Strong RFI/RFP, contract management and international procurement experience.
• Business fluency in German and English (speaking and writing).

We are looking for a dedicated, strategic Strategic Buyer Construction / Construction Services 80–100% (m/f/d) to strengthen our global procurement team for our client, a world leader in industrial measurement engineering based in Reinach (BL).

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and advancing global procurement activities for complex building projects and technical facility services. Working within a cross-functional and international environment, you will drive procurement strategies, manage high-impact CapEx investment projects, and ensure optimal cost structures, high quality, and supplier reliability across global production sites.

General Information

• Start Date: Immediate

• Duration: 6 months (high potential for extension or permanent takeover)

• Workplace: Reinach (BL)

• Workload: 80% – 100%

• Home Office: Yes (1 day/week home office after initial onboarding period)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction services, focusing on cost optimization, risk management, and overall competitiveness.

• Investment & Project Procurement: Lead the strategic procurement process for major CapEx projects, including new constructions, renovations, and site retrofits.

• End-to-End Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the entire procurement lifecycle—from demand identification, RFI/RFP creation, and contract negotiations to invoice verification.

• Supplier Management & Portfolio: Build, evaluate, and optimize the supplier portfolio based on performance, quality, and reliability metrics.

• Stakeholder & Site Collaboration: Serve as the central procurement partner for internal/external stakeholders and site development teams across global production facilities.

Qualifications & Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Education: Degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field (further procurement/sourcing certification is a plus).

• Domain Experience: Min. 5 years of proven experience in strategic procurement, specifically within construction, building technology (Gebäudetechnik), facility management, or CapEx projects.

• Methodological Expertise: Strong proficiency in RFI/RFP processes, contract management, and handling investment/CapEx procurement in an international setting.

• Language Skills: Business fluent in German and English (spoken and written).

Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

• Standards Expertise: Sound understanding of Swiss construction standards (e.g., SIA norms).

• Multilingual Capability: Proficiency in French is a plus.
