The FAO Liaison Office in Geneva seeks a Senior Partnerships Consultant to lead the Swiss Global Innovation Scaling Partnership (FAO-SFNV) for an 11-month term. Approximately 80% of time will drive partnerships with Swiss private sector and innovation actors, with travel as needed.

The role reports to the Director of the FAO Liaison Office, Geneva, and involves coordination with FAO HQs units, SFNV, FOAG, and other partners to operationalize four cooperation areas and scale impact.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree in Agriculture, Food Systems, Economics, Public Administration, International Relations, Political Sciences, Business Administration, Innovation Management or other field relevant to FAO's mandate.
• A bachelor's degree may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree with two additional years of relevant professional experience.

Aufgaben

• Act as project lead of the Swiss Global Innovation Scaling Partnership (FAO-SFNV partnership).
• Facilitate linkages and dialogue between SFNV management, SFNV corporate members and FAO.
• Engage with SFNV members and with the Swiss agrifood innovation ecosystem in coordination with SFNV and FOAG.
• Provide technical support to cooperation areas: needs identification, matchmaking, fundraising, co-creation, and partnership development.
