Strategic Partnerships Development Manager (III)

We are currently partnering with a leading client in Zürich to recruit a talented and experienced Strategic Partnerships Development Manager (III) (m/w/d) to join their growing business development team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of key products: Shopping, Payment, and Wallet by collaborating closely with the product team and gathering market feedback. You’ll manage end-to-end tasks with minimal supervision, proactively engage new prospects, and nurture relationships with existing partners.

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for partner management and business development, ideally with prior experience in retail, travel, online business, technical sales, or the e-commerce industry.

As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, you are a relationship builder that thrives in a fast-paced environment, successfully navigates internal processes, products, and teams, and revels in managing complex and strategically important partnerships for us. You manage and/or deepen relationships with partners, execute agreements, and track impact, enabling our client to be successful. You possess strong skills in relationship-building, negotiation, project management, and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end partner/supplier experience to ensure deal integration which includes negotiating and finalizing contracts, executing on account plans, pitching to partners/suppliers, resolving partner issues and advocating on behalf of partner/supplier.
  • Drive partner strategy, including new partner/supplier and opportunity prospecting. Conduct partner/industry research and collaborate on product strategy.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders/teams to drive the best partner/supplier outcome.
  • Drive managing partner engagement and relationship by tracking business metrics and insights, building business forecasts, and ensuring strong brand/reputation management.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Business, Tech
  • 8-12 years of experience in business development, partnerships, preferably in the ecommerce industry, management consulting, or Technology industries.
  • Experience with using Google Apps at work
  • Proven track record of success in partner management and new business development
  • Experience in opportunity and pipeline management
  • Experience in negotiating and finalizing contracts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in Project Management and Planning is a strong plus
  • Exceptional advocacy skills, including the ability to engage executives and navigate complexity

  • Hybrid work: Tues-Thurs in the office. Monday & Friday remote
  • Work Schedule: Normal business hours, Monday - Friday
